Ionian Islands

Hostels

Corfu, Kefalonia, Lefkas, Zakynthos, Ithaca, Paxi, Kythira and Meganisi all are "diamonds" that form the Ionian Island complex in the Ionian Sea, situated in the western side of Greece. The Ionian islands have been populated since ancient ages and have taken part in numerous events in the country's history, civilization and culture. During the Enetocratia times, they were influenced by western cultures and developed a special identity and characteristics that make them stand out from the rest of Greece. The Eptanisa (meaning Seven-Islands), as their name points, are the seven largest islands of the complex and have great tradition when it comes to singing, dancing, traditional local cuisine, delicious wine and generally fun and entertainment.
It is sure  that the visitor will be satisfied not only with the crystal clear seawater of the Ionian Sea but also with the deep forests of the Eptanisa and the warm welcoming of the locals.
Natural beaty: Pelekas and Palaiokastritsa in Corfu, the beach of Myrtos, lake Drogarati, Kounopetra, lake Akoli in Kefallonia, the Shipwreck  and Blue Caves in Zakynthos, the diaphanous west coasts of Lefkas(Lefkada) and the endless beaches of Kythera.
